Homo Erectus is a 2007 comedy film about cavemen
that was written and directed by Adam Rifkin, and starring Giuseppe
Andrews, Gary Busey, David Carradine, Ron Jeremy, Ali Larter, Hayes
MacArthur, Adam Rifkin, and Talia Shire.
The film is mostly narrated in first-person by
the protagonist Ishbo, either in voiceover or directly addressing the
camera mid-scene. Its humour is made up largely of its many
anachronistic gags, such as Ishbo's glasses and other inventions,
marijuana use, feminism, gay pride, and modern military style training.
