X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

Hugh Jackman reprises the role that made him a superstar – as the fierce fighting machine who possesses amazing healing powers, retractable claws and a primal fury. Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe whose appearances in the film series have long been anticipated.

X-Men The Last Stand (2006)

A "cure" has been developed for mutants, but what does this mean for the children of the atom? Worthington Labs, the developer of this cure, finds itself in the sights of one of the most powerful mutants of all time: Magneto. With a growing army, Magneto storms the lab, aiming to annihilate the source of the cure-a young, frightened mutant.

X-Men United (2003)

X-Men (2000)

When teenage mutant Rogue's mutant abilities manifest with dire consequences, she runs away from home. When two evil mutants attack the unlikely companions, the X-Men come to their rescue and bring Rogue and Logan back to Professor Charles Xavier and his School for Gifted Youngsters, a safe haven for mutants where they can learn to harness their abilities. As the X-Men uncover that Magneto, an immensely powerful mutant and Holocaust survivor bent on punishing humanity for its intolerance of mutantkind, was behind the attack, the team fears that Magneto and his mutant terrorists might be planning an act of war that could threaten the entire human race. Can the X-Men and their new members put a stop to Magneto's madness before it's too late?
