Synopsis

Francis (Diane Lane) is extremely depressed after her recent divorce and her current writer's block. Her friend Patti (Sandra Oh) sends her on a trip to Tuscany for ten days to recover. On a whim, she purchases a villa which needs a lot of restoration. She falls into her new life in the countryside and begins to fear that her dreams for a family and a new life may go unrealized. That is, until she meets Marcello (Raoul Bova).
