The
Succubus is a bat-winged demon chick in black leather lingerie; this is
just about as cool as it gets. The sleek pallid-skinned Succubus is
equipped with a double-bladed battle axe, and is accompanied by a
creepy hunchback toady. In Symphony of the Night, Alucard is confronted
by the Succubus during the Nightmare sequence. In the course of the
sequence, Alucard is forced to watch as a lynch mob makes preparations
to execute his mother; faced with this atrocity, Alucard is forced to
question his allegiance to humankind. His mother laments her fate and
advises Alucard to kill the humans rather than assist them. Eventually
Alucard realizes that heâTMs been entranced and his
sorrowful mother is in fact revealed to be the cunning and malignantly
beautiful Succubus
